How a welding repair is assessed
We inspect the corrosion and surrounding metal before deciding whether a repair is suitable. Access can require nearby trim or components to be removed. Where appropriate, damaged metal is cut out and a replacement section is fabricated and welded, then finished and protected to suit the repaired area.

Why is a physical inspection needed for a quote?
Surface appearance may not reveal the full extent of corrosion or the access needed. The inspection lets us assess the surrounding structure and explain the repair method and price.
Can every corroded area be welded?
No. Suitability depends on the location, remaining metal and repair requirements. We explain whether the area can be repaired after assessment rather than promise a repair from photographs alone.
Can I discuss corrosion mentioned on an MOT?
Yes. Bring the test report or advisory details so the workshop can identify the relevant area and plan the assessment.
