WHAT DO WE DO?
We start by identifying all of the areas of corrosion on your vehicle. We then remove the carpets, covers, trims, seats, batteries, alloy panels or anything else that could catch fire so we are left with the raw metal.
All of the corrosion is then marked in yellow and cut out in straight-edged rectangular panels. We then fabricate replacement sections in 1.2mm steel which we butt and seam weld (we generally don’t patch weld).
Once welded, we fully dress the weld (making it flat and seamless), seam seal, and prime with acid etch, preparing it for the final paint in the chosen finish. If the work is under the vehicle, we apply a protective coating to prevent future rust.
